Once Upon a Time: Amy Acker and Emma Caulfield guest star

It's another great addition to the cast of Once Upon a Time. According to TV Line, Amy Acker will guest star in an upcoming episode as a love interest for Grumpy (one of the Seven Dwarfs) as well as for Leroy. Acker will play her character in Storybrooke and the fairy tale universe.

Back in October, it was revealed that another Whedonverse star, Emma Caulfield, will play the role of the Blind Witch from Hansel and Gretel, in the ninth episode of this season.

De acordo com a TV Line, a actriz Amy Acker vai juntar-se numa aparição especial ao elenco da série Once Upon a Time. Acker vai capturar as atenções de Grumpy (um dos Sete Anões) e de Leroy. A sua personagem vai aparecer em Storybrooke e no mundo encantado paralelo.

After 9 seasons, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will air for one last time 13 January, with the 200th episode. In the finale, Ty's team will help a family in Missouri, whose house was devastated by a tornado.

Ty Pennington will no longer be saying move that bus, but will continue on air: he will be a panelist on The Revolution, an ABC series on health and lifestyle.

J.J. Abrams is moving to the CW

J.J. Abrams, the executive producer of Lost and Alias, is moving to the CW, and will pair up with Mark Schwann, the executive producer of One Three Hill. The team is developing a hotel drama, which will be one of the most expensive projects of the new developing season. The series is tentatively entitled Maine, as the plot is set at an inn in Maine, and develops around the staff an the guests.

Abrams returns to his home, as the CW is the descendant of the WB, where he was the executive producer of Felicity.

A equipa está a desenvolver um drama à volta de um hotel, dos empregados e dos hóspedes. Temporariamente intitulada Maine, a acção decorre num pequeno hotel na localidade de Maine.

Abrams regressa assim a casa, pois a CW é a descendente da WB, onde ele foi o produtor executivo de Felicity.

Glee: Extraordinary Merry Christmas

After last year's success, Glee does a Christmas episode again. Next week, tune in for the Fall finale of this season, with Extraordinary Merry Christmas.

The official plot is very promising: "When New Directions is asked to perform at two different events on the same day, at the same time they have a tough decision to make. Will they choose correctly and spread Christmas cheer, or will their ambition get the best of them?"

Symphony of Illumination, which airs 5 December, will be the Fall finale episode of How I Met Your Mother. After the amazing news Robin revealed in the last episode, we can see in this sneak peek that the father can only be Barney. To add up speculation, the press release of this episode says that Robin will receive some bad news but won't share them with the others.

According to Carter Bays, Robin's pregnancy will affect the dynamic of the whole group. However, it seems that Kevin isn't out of the picture just yet. Bays also says that the identity of the mother will definitely be revealed this season.

Alcatraz: new Fox series

J. J. Abrams and Elizabeth Sarnoff bring us Alcatraz, a new series centered on America's most infamous prison and one-time home to the nation's most notorious murderers, rapists, kidnappers and thieves.

The cast has some famous names, like Jorge Garcia, who plays Dr. Diego “Doc” Soto, an Alcatraz expert and comic book enthusiast, Sam Neil, who plays Emerson Hauser, an enigmatic Mr. knows it all government agent, and Parminder Nagra, an Agent Hauser's technician. The main cast is completed with Sarah Jones, Robert Forster, Santiago Cabrebra, Jonny Coyne and Jason Butler Harner.

In a recent interview, Margaret Colin, who plays Eleanor Waldorf, let slip the fate of Blair's baby. She said she "had to show up to work to find out that, you know, that she lost the baby". To add up to the speculation, executive producer Joshua Safran actually said that the future princess would “maybe have a baby.” Guess we won't see the baby bump in the wedding after all.

My verdict: We got to see Robin and Ted with their private jokes, one more slap, and a very special musical moment performed by Marshall.

Synopses (from IMDB): Will, an old friend of Ross' is in town and Monica invited him for Thanksgiving dinner. Will used to be really fat in high school and he really hates Rachel because she was horrible to him. Will shows his hatred and tells Rachel they had the "I hate Rachel Greene Club" in high school. The members of the club: Will and Ross!
My verdict: What an amazing moment, to see Monica open the door to none other than Brad Pitt. The hermaphrodite cheerleader from Long Island, the I Hate Rachel Green Club, the fact that Will was as fat as Monica: a remarkable episode.

My verdict: The scenes with Amy and Rachel are hilarious. Their "fight", Monica and the plates, the whole "who has to die for me to raise Emma?".

#1 Buffy, Pangs
Synopses (from IMDB): On Thanksgiving, Buffy encounters the spirit of a Native American warrior whose people were wiped out by settlers.
My verdict: Every episode with even a glance of David Boreanaz is good enough for me. And this episode was just so entertaining: Anya's sense of humor, Spike imprisoned by the Scooby Gang, and off course, and I am repeating myself, Angel lurking in the shadows to protect Buffy (it was a great intro for I Will Remember you, which I will leave to another post).
Favorite quote:
Angel: I'm not evil again. Why does everyone think that?
Willow: Angel's here to protect Buffy.
Angel: I haven't been evil for a long time!

Christmas wishlist: Glee the Concert Movie DVD

In less than a month, on 20 December, the DVD of the Glee's Concert Movie will be released in the USA. British fans are luckier, as the release date in the Queen's land is scheduled to 5 December.

Ryan Murphy has announced that the DVD will have more scenes than the movie. For instance, Jane Lynch, aka Sue Silvester, will be featured in this version. Some of the songs in the OST include Don't Stop Believing, Sing, Firework, Born This Way, Loser Like Me, as well as some themes performed by the Warblers, like Raise Your Glass and Teenage Dream.

Dog Days Are Over and Friday didn't appear in the movie but will be included in the DVD edition.

For most of European fans, who didn't get to see nor the movie nor the concerts, December can't come fast enough. You can pre-order the DVD here.

De hoje a menos de um mês, a 20 de Dezembro, o DVD do filme Glee the Concert Movie vai ser lançado nos EUA. Os fãs britânicos têm mais sorte, pois a edição em DVD vai ser lançada no Reino Unido no dia 5 do mesmo mês.

The River is the new ABC season for the midseason replacement, and its executive producer is none other than Steven Spielberg. This paranormal/adventure/horror show will premiere 7 February.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.: Where are they now?

We first met them in 1994, and they have been part of our lives ever since. David Crane, Marta Kauffman and Kevin Bright brought together six people that fitted perfectly the role of "our" friend.
They made us laugh and cry in no more than 22 minutes. They were our best company, now and then. We all miss them, and despite seeing them quite often in other roles, they will always be the amazing FRIENDS:

Jennifer Aniston

Rachel Green started out as a spoiled rich girl, but we grew to love her as the waitress pursuing her dream to work in fashion. She was Monica's best friend, and the on and off relationship with Ross made us root for the couple for almost ten years, especially after the adorable Emma. Since the end of the series, we have seen Jen in some comedies, like Rumor Has It, The Break-Up and Horrible Bosses. She was also a guest star on Courtney Cox's Dirt and Cougar Town.

David Schwimmer
Ross Geller is our favorite paleontologist. He was as geeky as lovable, not the mention that we were always sympathetic with the downfalls of his love life. He was hilarious in a remarkable way. For the love of god, they were on a break. And Ross as a musician: it's safe to say that bagpipes and keyboards were never more entertaining.
David Schwimmer has been conquering the little ones as Melman (Madagascar). He was also a director of the 13th episode of Joey.

Courteney Cox
Monica Gellar was a unique character, and the one I related to the most. Her sense of perfection made each scene special. And just think of the wedding, "We can't find Chandler...'s vest", "Don't scare me like that. For a second I was life: Oh, my God, the worst has happened". She wanted to be the perfect wife, the perfect chef, the super aunt... and she sure nailed it. Off course that if you told her that, she would simply say "I KNOW!"
We have seen Courteney as Jules in Cougar Town, and following the FRIENDS tradition, she guest stared in Lisa's Web Therapy series. She is also quite known in the Scream movies.

Matthew Perry
Chandler Bing, or Chandler Muriel Bing, didn't have it easy for a long time. However, is facial expressions and sarcasm conquered the audience like no other. We loved Janice (OH MY GOD), but we were all happy when he found love in his best friend. "Could I be any more" proud of him? "They don't know that we know that they know": simply unforgettable.
Mr. Shunshine didn't please the critics, and we also think he could do better. Let's hope Matt overcomes his personal problems and returns to the screen soon.

Lisa Kudrow
Smelly Cat, Smelly Cat, what are they feeding you? Is there any terrible singer that we appreciated more than Phoebe Buffay, or Regina Phalange, or Princess Consuela Bananahammock. From cleansing auras to reincarnation, Phoebe was the most credulous of the gang. She was also one of the kindest: she was the surrogate of her brother's triplets. She didn't have it easy as a child, which is why we were so glad that she got to have a fairytale wedding with Mike.
Nowadays, we see her as Fiona in Web Therapy. She also guest stared in Cougar Town. Recently, we also saw her in Easy A.

Matt LeBlanc
"How you doing?" Joseph Francis Tribbiani, or just Joey, was passionate about food and women. He was also a wannabe actor, eventually landing a big role in Days of Our Lives, as Dr. Drake Ramoray. He was so dumb that every situation made us laugh out loud, but incredibly sweet at the same time: the time when he was in love in Rachel was just heartbreakingly beautiful.
We have seen Matt as Joey, in his own sitcom, as as himself, in Episodes.

How I Met Your Mother: the Rebound Girl

After the heartbreaking end of last week's episode of How I Met Your Mother, fans are anxious to see what Barney will do next. In The Rebound Girl, which airs 21 November, we will see Ted and Barney discussing a life-chaging decision together, while Robin tries to talk Marshall and Lily out of moving to the suburbs.
