How I Met Your Mother: The Pre-Nup promo pics

The Good Wife: meet Alicia's mother

Stockard Channing (The West Wing) will play Alicia Florrick's mother. The TV veteran will guest star in at least one episode, and her character is described as mercurial and heavily influenced by the 1960s' counterculture era. 

The fourth season of The Good Wife premieres September 30.
